Packaging

Our packaging is designed with care and intention, ensuring your products arrive safely while being mindful of sustainability. 

Whenever possible, we use sustainable and recyclable materials to reduce environmental impact. Please note there may be some exceptions to our standard packaging depending on the material.

1. Types of packaging we use:

• Glass Bottles  - We use dark coloured glass bottles for all 50ml or 100ml orders of our essential oils, cold pressed oils, refined oils and absolutes.  
• Aluminium Flasks - Essential oils ordered in 500ml and 1kg will be supplied in an aluminium flask.
• Plastic Bottles - 250ml and 500ml orders of cold pressed oils, refined oils, waters and infusions will be delivered in dark coloured plastic bottles.
• Pouches & Plastic Tubs - Butters, Exfoliants and Waxes ordered in volumes of 250g - 1kg will be supplied in resealable pouches or plastic tubs depending on the most appropriate solution for the material.
• Jerry Cans and Buckets - Any large volume products will be supplied in jerry cans or buckets depending on which is most appropriate for the material. Jerry cans will be used for liquid soap bases. 

2. Combined Bottles/Cartons: To minimise waste and optimise packaging, we may combine smaller bottles or cartons to make up your total weight. Rest assured, the quantity remains exactly as ordered.

3. What’s in the Box? When you open your INKY package, you’ll find:

• Your products securely packed to prevent damage.

• Minimal filler material, always recyclable or biodegradable.

4. Safe Delivery: Every order is carefully packed to limit breakages. For example, liquid items are double-sealed to prevent leaks, and fragile items are cushioned for added protection.

Colour, Aroma and Consistency - Managing Your Expectations

We understand that natural products can vary in appearance and texture. Here’s what you should know about our offerings:

1. Natural Variations:

• Aroma: Natural ingredients can vary in aroma based on the harvest season, origin, or climatic conditions.

• Colour: Different batches might have slightly different hues due to the organic nature of our products.

• Consistency: Depending on storage and weather conditions, some products may solidify or liquefy. For instance, oils may arrive as a solid in cooler months. Simply leave them at room temperature and they should normalise over time.

2. Why Variations Occur: Our products are minimally processed to retain their natural integrity, which means they may not look identical every time—and that’s a good thing! This ensures you’re receiving pure, high-quality ingredients.
